Giroud: `My story at Arsenal is not finished!`
The Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud said that he had been close to leaving the team during the summer, but changed his mind after he felt he has unfinished business with the Gunners. At a news conference before the meeting of the teams in the Europa League tomorrow, he said:
`That is a very personal decision. It is true that I was close to leaving the club because I wanted to play, but I stayed after much thinking with my close friends and family. In the sports sense, I wanted to stay at Arsenal because I thought my story isn`t finished.`
`The club via football asian handicap has faith in me and I want to repay it. Still, I want to get better and I want to win more trophies with the team. As I said, our story is not over, and everyone was happy with it.` `It is an honor to play for Arsenal and to score almost 100 goals. I hope to reach that number as soon as possible. For a striker, it is important to score goals. This thought is with me all the time, but more important was to win. If we play well, then the goals will come.`, said Giroud.
