Rio Ferdinand`s son has signed his first professional contract with Brighton. Lorenz Ferdinand turned 19 in July. Since 2022, he has played for Brighton`s youth teams as a goalkeeper.
The former Manchester United defender and his wife Kate shared the news on social media, noting that the whole family is very proud of this event.
Lorenz is the eldest of Rio Ferdinand`s children and was born to his wife Rebecca Ellison, who died of cancer in 2014.
