Desmond Mason went to prison. Desmond Mason, the 2001 dunk contest winner, was arrested in Oklahoma on Wednesday and charged with contempt of court. The former NBA player was released hours later on $50, 000 bail.
According to court documents, the hearing was related to Mason`s divorce from Andrea Mason. The former basketball player did not appear in court.
Mason, now 47, was selected by Seattle in the first round of the 2000 draft.
