Alonso spoke about the confusion with the positions at the Monaco Grand Prix.

I actually don`t know what exactly happened. When the race was stopped by red flags, Lance was 10th and I was 12th. And then they reinstated Sainz to 3rd position, so we were 12th and 14th when we should have been 13th and 14th, but Lance ended up ahead of Daniel Ricciardo - even though it shouldn`t have been that way. So, in fact, I don`t really know what position I started from and what position I was riding in, " Alonso said.
